Job Description:
The Software Engineer participates in the design, implementation, troubleshooting, testing and debugging of the HP products and components. Works under the guidance of project member and technical lead
The job requires an individual who can rapidly understand business requirements, assess the fit with current and emerging standards, and work within a team to provide rapid but effective results – all with an eye toward aligning with future standards.
- Research, design, develop, configure, integrate, test and maintain new and existing system software products
- Direct efforts towards usability, self-service, and zero-support needed goals
- Need to develop domain skills and learn requirement analysis skills under the guidance of senior members
- Design, develop, unit-test, maintain, and document network management software
- Troubleshoot and fix issues reported by QA, customers, and business partners
- Design and develop robust, scalable, high-quality software
- Work closely with Engineering Management, Program Management, and QA during the product lifecycle
